Actually Vitargo is a patented name for a high molecular weight
carbohydrate...It's nothing more than waxy maize and it is sold by a
Swedish company.

The original Vitargo is without creatine and unflavoured. Once you pour it
into solution it transforms into gel.

There is actually also a study published on the Scandinavian Journal of
Gastroenterology demonstrating that this type of carbohydrate has a higher
rate of gastric empting than normal glucose.

However, it's not surprising since for the same amount of carbohydrate,
high molecular weight molecules will will pass through the stomach much
faster.

You can use effectively maltodextrin that is much cheaper and more
effective than just glucose.
