direstraits: [FH] Trixi's Fantastic News!!

Hi all

I just got Trixi back from Liverpool, and the news from her echo was
fantastic! I`ll quote from her report..

' Her heart scan shows a significant improvement since her last scan.
Her heart muscle walls are less thick. There was no evidence of
turbulent outflow or leaky heart valves and she did not show the
dynamic obstruction or SAM we had found previously. There is no
evidence of increased heart pressures or heart failure. She had
responded really well to her treatment'

I`m absolutely delighted!!! Trixi was diagnosed at 3 months with severe
advanced HCM and now she has actually shown an improvement. She returns
in 6 months (normally it's every 2 months) for a re-scan.

For us, the beta blockers have been a life saver.
