Just about everyone in this (and other groups) has their favorites. Ford vs GM vs Dodge.... TT vs 5er .... Fleetwood vs HR vs Jatco vs ..... I'm certain that you get the idea. My suggestion to you is to go to as many RV shows as you can tolerate. Walk through and crawl under as many units as you can with and without a salesperson. Take note on what you like and what you don't .
Then go to websites and check out floor plans and options from manufacturers you consider to build quality units.
Most RVers are happy to show off their units. Walk around a nearby campground. You'll be surprice at how many people will talk with you.
Then sit down with dealers (notice the word is plural) to discuss prices and delivery times.
Keep in mind that the more bells and whistles; the more you have to go wrong.
Buying an RV is a very personal event. What my best friend wants and needs is very different from what we want and need.
Good luck.

Hi!
I just joined this group & thought I might ask for some info. I'm
looking for the best 5th wheeler or travel trailer & diesel puller,
(truck) to live in and travel across the USA with my honey Mariza. We
will be living stationary for some time & traveling for some time. I
have NO previous knowledge of either of these Rv's but I have owned a
motor home in the past & had a lot of fun with it. I am considering
buying a "fixer-upper" so I can modify it as I please. I am not on a
limited budget so I will be open to ANY suggestions. I want the best
I can buy for the money that is easy to pull, operate, efficient,
durable & most of all VERY comfortable.
Thank you for your input.
Tim
